Hi, I’m Cori Callahan

My entire life has been dedicated to creative pursuits. I’m and artist through and through and have experience in various roles, including being a retired Radio City Rockette, SAG/AFTRA Actress, Dance Teacher and Choreographer, as as well as a Marketing and Promotional Extraordinaire! I am truly passionate about creating and communicating and I invite you to go on my journey with me…

I LOVE Creating. I LOVE Communicating. I LOVE Connecting!

Fun Fact: I left the University of Michigan as a Dance Major when I was offered the position of Radio City Rockette. I went back to school before online learning was a thing and graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with a B.S. in Marketing, all while performing with Radio City.  “If there is a will, there is a way”

I have been dancing, singing, and acting since the age of 3.  I danced competitively, winning many titles including Miss Dance of Michigan 1995.  I performed in numerous musicals throughout my high school career, as well as acting in film and commercials.  I attended The University of Michigan as a Dance major.  I left U of M when I was offered the position of Radio City Rockette with Radio City Music Hall.  I performed 7 seasons with Radio City, while obtaining my BS in Marketing.  I retired from Radio City to become a mother and we moved back to my home state of Michigan.

I began teaching and choreographing locally at dance studios and high schools.  I worked as a Relationship and Marketing Manager for Curtain Call Dance Costumes, dabbled in insurance sales, and obtained my teaching certification to teach and choreograph at The Warren Consolidated School of Performing Arts.  This is where my passion for Marketing, as well as performance Arts, started to merge.  Not only did I instruct dance, but I also taught the students all the ins and outs of Marketing and Social Media

I started Corio Creative Services so that I could help businesses with their online presence, communication, and promotions. I have heard time and time again how much time marketing takes away from the actual running of your business. I LOVE creating. I LOVE communicating. I LOVE connecting! I ultimately LOVE educating.  After a few years of creating for businesses, I would always feel fulfilled when I was consulting with businesses and teaching them how to run an amazing Digital Marketing Campaign!

But Wait!.... There’s more! Ha!

While I was teaching at high schools and studios, I had performers come to me asking for help with their College Musical Theater Auditions.  They wanted a crash course on basic dance techniques.  These are Musical Theater students who just did not have the time to attend dance class consistently or not at all!  I developed a program to not only teach them the basic skills needed in Ballet, Jazz, and Tap but also Audition skills and a one-minute solo for college pre-screen.

PHEW!
